Had to visit the ER after my fever refused to show signs of subsiding. I was taken in very quickly and after a reasonable wait, I was seen by the doctor. A nice lady, she discussed my fever with me (a first for me), ordered some tests, and then discussed the results with me. It was a pleasant surprise. I have never been treated in such a wonderful manner in any hospital. The parting shot was the best, “Don’t worry; we will get things under control very soon.” Highly impressed

I had to visit the ER after getting injured in a three-car pileup. I had glass pieces on my face as well as two deep cuts on my hand. I was taken in quick time, and after a five-minute wait was seen by the doctor. She ordered cleaning up of my face, thoroughly inspected the wounds, and stitched them up in no time. A fortnight later, I could hardly find any evidence of stitches on my hand. Thanks a ton for taking good care of me.

Patient comfort and respect towards the patients are the two things that the staff of Yavapai Regional Medical Center has no clue about. My granny had to visit this ER after a bad fall and a swollen ankle. The nurse pulls her and tries to make her stand to take her weight. The dumb lady does not understand that she has a swollen ankle and is not able to stand up. She behaved very rudely with her.

Even though we waited for two hours in the ER waiting room, the nurse did not give any pain medicines to alleviate her pain. Her response to my request, “We do not give pain meds to every Tom, Dick, and Harry. It is given only to a genuinely needy person.” WOW…an old lady with swollen ankle is not a genuinely needy person.

We had to leave without seeing a doctor because there was no clue when the person would come. I took granny to the nearby hospital where she was taken in immediately and seen within a few minutes. X-rays showed she had a broken ankle.

I have decided to stop going to the shithole called Yavapai Regional Medical Center!!!!
