This is strictly a visitor’s review.

The hospital is very welcoming and has some positive vibes to it. The premises is clean.

Coming to the staff, they are absolute gems, and I am not sure if any other hospital has such an exceptional staff. I reached the front desk and asked the lady the room number where my fiancée was admitted. She gave one of the loveliest smiles and not only gave the number but also sent a guide to help me reach the room. It was an excellent idea.

The nurses were also very friendly and professional. They did not disclose any information about my fiancée until she asked them to tell me. The doctor was also a kind individual and discussed how she was progressing and the treatment plan that she was following.

All in all, I felt happy with the care that my fiancée was having

I had my first child here few months back. The care which the staff provided was way beyond our wildest expectations. Every individual from Labor and Delivery to the guy who took us to our car after my discharge was terrific. They were kind, compassionate, and very efficient in everything they did. My husband and I could not imagine getting a better birthing experience than this. Our highest recommendation. All mothers-to-be rush to WakeMed Raleigh if you want to have a great birthing experience.

My son was admitted here for high fever and dehydration. Saying it was an awful experience would be an understatement. It is way over terrible. The nurses on the floor were terrific, but the doctor was a complete idiot. Every passing hour, she showed us her incompetence. She had no clue on how to handle the fever once it stopped responding to conventional medicines. There was no out-of-the-box thinking.

She tried to repeat the same process but at a higher dose. When my son started reacting to the high dose, I decided enough was enough and sought early discharge.

I took him to another hospital, where the doctor not only addressed his dehydration but also his fever. The only thing different he did was stopping two drugs, which were being given by the idiot at WakeMed hospital. We are lucky that my son was still alive at the end of this ordeal.

I will not allow my family to step in here nor would I come…its is hasta la vista, baby.
