My girlfriend recently underwent hip surgery at Viera. She was taken care of by a very professional and attentive staff. I used to come very often to visit her, and every interaction with them left me highly impressed. They took excellent care of Stephie. We are ever grateful for the love, affection and most importantly the care given to her. A big shout out to the entire team. You will be in our prayers.

The main issue with this hospital is ATTITUDE. And the biggest example of this is the female security guard who is positioned in the ER! The lady is extremely unprofessional and very rude. She got pissed off because I did not want to walk through the detector while carrying my 11-month-old child. I do not have any problem in walking through the detector as long as someone held my child, but she did not allow anyone to help me. The b*&^h had the gumption to say if we both do not walk through the detector she will not allow me to enter the premises at all…this idiot did not know that my wife was admitted after she was involved in an accident.

Despite repeated pleadings and also showing the visitor badge, the useless piece of shit did not allow me to enter. I did not relent and started making a big ruckus after which one of the administrative staff came and helped me out of the mess. I have also filed an official complaint to Health First about the b*&^h.

Honestly, this is not the first time I have faced attitude in this hospital. I face this “Attitude” problem whenever I visit Viera. It's a real shame.

The staff and the doctors who treated my wife also had some issues. They were unprofessional and did not do anything on a patient who was lying in a bed for more than four hours. Finally, a doctor came, looked at her and said you could go after writing a script for painkillers. Wow...what a way to treat a patient who is crying in pain and has a neck brace on and whose foot is also in a brace.

I took her to a nearby hospital where they took real good care of her and yes…they did not force me to walk through the detector with my baby.

My wife went there for a hip pinning procedure. Right from our entry to the discharge, everyone treated us well. People were skilled and knew what they were doing. We went for a follow-up visit and got the same type of love, affection, and kindness. I would visit this hospital for all the healthcare needs of my family. Great Hospital.

I had a nice experience when I went to the Viera Hospital Emergency Room. Everyone was very friendly. All of them were very accommodating, the housekeeping staff, the security guard, volunteer helper, the receptionist, nurses, as well as the doctor. They were extremely efficient, pleasant, and communicated with me about the entire procedure that I was going to undergo. No hesitation in saying this is a wonderful hospital operated by a wonderful staff.

Unfortunately, over the last year, I had to frequent Viera Hospital's ER at least six to seven times, once for myself and rest for my colleagues and family members. Fortunately, every single time, we were treated well, and the patients received the best possible care from the well-mannered and highly qualified staff.

Each time the service was excellent and the even though we interacted with quite a few doctors, all of them were good, and we were happy that our care was in very professional hands. We are pleased to have such a wonderful hospital in our neighborhood.
