Highly impressed with the outstanding staff at UMC labor and delivery. The L&D nurses got my epidural super fast, and I had perfect delivery. I was pleasantly surprised when UMC hospital provided me a private room. They also had arranged a bed for my fiancé. I recommend

I hate these bloodsucking idiots!!!!!

This b******s shifted me from a semi-clean observation area to a room that was covered with dirt, trash, and even dried feces. Despite my husband asking the nurse to get the room cleaned, the nurse did not get the housekeeping to clean it. It was cleaned only after we decided to contact the charge nurse and the hospital administrator. The nurse who was in charge of my care was very rude and did not like the fact that we had contacted the charge nurse and the management. She took her revenge by either skipping the meds or delaying the meds. Even at the time of discharge, she did not come to the room and remove the IV. I had to remove the IV on my own.

Advise everyone to avoid this hospital. They are least bothered about taking care of you. Even third world countries would have much better hospital quality than this wretched shithole — an apt case for shutting down.

We are not from the state, so we cannot talk about other departments and people, but the ER staff treated us well. My wife and I were on vacation here, and my wife suddenly fell ill. The nursing team and the doctors were very knowledgeable and skilled. The support staff was also very helpful, kind, and informative. They diagnosed my wife as having twisted intestines. A sigmoidoscopy was performed to untwist it. We stayed for a day-and-a-half and then were on our way. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful team for taking great care of my wife.

UMC treated me well. They ensured that all my symptoms were resolved before discharging me. I was there for two days and during the stay did not come across anything that was negative. The staff was attentive towards my needs, were caring, and ensured I was treated promptly. Thank you, UMC
