I have been visiting Union Medical Center when it was still Wallace Thompson Hospital. I will not lie and say every single experience has exceptional. There were bad days, worse days, good days, and exceptional days. What has always made me come here was the excellent staff. The hospital then and now is staffed some very good people who treat you as human beings.

Nurses and doctors do have their bad days and those days tend to be bad for patients as well. However, if we cut them some slack, then I have noticed that the service which we get is always good. I have never made a big fuss out of it because I know they are human beings, and they are entitled to their bad days. If you treat them as human beings during those days, then they will also treat you like a human being during every visit.

This is a fantastic hospital. I have been here thrice over three years, and all the three times, the nurses and doctors treated me well. My latest was for imaging, and I had a pleasant experience. There was a rush at the imaging lab due to some technical issues, but things were under control. I had to wait for only an hour before I was called in.

The tech was a wonderful guy. Very friendly, he made sure that I was comfortable before he went ahead with the imaging. He even cracked one or two jokes to lighten up the mood. If one can say it, then I would like to say I had a very good “imaging” experience

If you want to be treated by a bunch of careless and useless staff that is least bothered about your care then, I would suggest coming here for treatment…if not, then please go to a hospital which has staff that is concerned about their patients.

I visited twice…once after an accident which left me with an ankle fracture, and they ended up sending me home with ACE wrap and pain meds. The last visit was two days back. I had a high fever and was under observation when the pulse machine stopped working. Despite this, not even a single nurse came to check what was happening. What if I was dying?...by the time these twits realize what was happening, I might have been dead.

This was my last visit here…won’t be back here again
