I had surgery at Trumbull Regional Medical Center and an overnight stay. The nurses were great and very helpful. They did not hesitate to talk with me when they realized I was nervous and alone (husband is on active duty). They left only after I started dozing off. I am glad that I sought care here and would not hesitate to return. Thank you, Trumbull, for taking good care of me

One of the worst ever. My twin brother was hospitalized here for major surgery and recovery. Stating that he received atrocious care would be an understatement. It is was appalling, and there are not enough words to slam the care he got. He was not cleaned daily. The cleaning happened every three or four days. His bed was also not changed for days together. Despite it being very dirty, the housekeeping did not deem it fit to change it. My 65-year-old brother deserved much better. To top it off, the nurses were very rude and did not like the fact that I was pointing out their deficiencies. Planning to file a complaint with hospital administration regarding the appalling service that we got here

So, I would like to review this hospital with two words STAY AWAY!!!! This is not a hospital. It is a dump. I am sorry, even a dump would be better than this. This hospital sucks big time. It shocks me the way things go around here. It is highly disorganized. It is a classic case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. My vitals were taken thrice by different nurses. The phlebotomist was an apprentice and had no idea on how to set up an IV or draw blood. She ended up poking my hand several times, leaving a big bruise on my hand, which took three weeks to heal. The nurses and doctors were also pathetic and rude. They did not like anybody questioning them. The ER doctor who saw me was an idiot. His phone rang nearly ten times while he was evaluating me and out of the 5-minute eval, he spent nearly four minutes of answering his phone. Luckily, there was no need for getting admitted. Or else, somebody would have been writing my obituary.

We went to this hospital a few months back to get my daughter’s tonsil removed. They did a pretty good job with it. The nurses and the surgeon were nice people, and before surgery talked with my daughter and made her feel comfortable. Thanks to these outstanding professionals, what was supposed to be a traumatic day for us turned a pretty smooth affair

I had undergone heart surgery here three years back. I had a quintuple bypass, and thanks to the wonderful cardiac surgeon, I am still alive today. I am not on many drugs which a patient who undergo such surgery generally have. I am fit and fine as a fiddle. Thank you, Trumbull, for treating me well. God Bless
