This is one of the best hospitals in California and I have undergone 3 surgeries here, out of which two were major ones. I had a few complications but the doctors who treated me handled it really well. I received excellent care and service from this place and the people who work here.

The hospital is filled with wonderful people; from the receptionist to the admin to the doctors to the nurses to the janitors to the technicians; everybody did an amazing job. People were kind, helpful and dedicated to whatever they did.

I for sure recommend this hospital.

Very recently I underwent a surgery here at Torrance memorial and I must say it was one of the best care I ever experienced in a very long time. My wife had got me pre-registered over the phone. So, as soon as I went in, my wife had to sign on my behalf and I was immediately taken in.

They did not just take care of me. They made sure my wife was doing fine and she was feeling comfortable throughout the whole time as well. And when the rest of the family came in to meet me, they were treated very well too.

As I was getting discharged and heading back home, I noticed that all the aspects of the hospital which includes billing, medical records, parking, food, housekeeping etc. and the entire staff who worked there, the doctors, the nurses, the technicians, housekeeping, administration etc. were class apart.
People who work here know how to go about with an efficient team work.

Because of all this, I found the functioning of the hospital to be exactly similar to that of a well oiled machine with patient care and comfort being given the top priority.

Loved my experience in the place and if I have to be in a hospital, I am for sure coming back here.

My niece cannot speak properly even though she turned 6, 3 months back. That is when my sister decided to take her to a speech therapist. We did our homework and figured out that this hospital offered the best services in pediatric speech therapy.

We decided to take an appointment and we managed to get one within a week’s time. I felt that was marvelous, given the time hospitals take to give out an appointment in such cases.

We took my niece there and the doctor evaluated her speech clarity in the first visit. He was kind hearted and I could see that his warm and friendly nature made my niece grow fond of him. It has been 3 months now and I can see a lot of improvement in my niece’s speech clarity.

There is a vast difference in the way she used to speak before and how she speaks now. I can see her and the doctor putting efforts in the right direction and I am happy that the situation has improved a great deal.

If your child is going through any speech related issues, RUN to this place.

Many people highly recommended this place to me and strongly suggested that I deliver my baby here. And I too was happy that I found a good place where many had experienced the best.

But I guess, either I was not lucky enough or all that I had heard about the place was a thing of the past. I got admitted and a very snooty nurse was assigned to me while I was in my labor. She was of no help absolutely and would get annoyed if I tried demanding any kind of help from her.
It was a pathetic experience and I felt trapped. I was already admitted and I was in labor and I couldn’t do anything at all.

I wouldn’t say one shouldn’t come here at all because I have heard great things about the place and I very well know people who told me all of that were definitely not lying. I guess I was there at a very wrong time or maybe with the wrong nurse.

If you wish to go, it is up to you but I am never going to step inside that place again.

I was admitted here for 2 and a half weeks and I had a mix of good and bad experiences here; a few good but mostly bad. I found three doctors to be wonderful; they were really good at their work and genuinely cared for their patients and made them feel comfortable and positive whenever they interacted.

But a few others were arrogant and I would call their behavior as one of the shittiest behavior I have ever seen. The nurses were worse; they were beyond rude and did not hesitate even a little bit in mistreating people and bringing their morale down. They almost abused helpless patients like me.

I never got help when I needed it the most at this hospital. For the way they treat people, the facility should be closed down immediately.
