Visited the Tidelands Waccamaw Community ER after meeting with an accident. Every individual who interacted with me was kind and very professional. The ER was crowded, but there was movement of patients, and I did not expect that I would meet the doctor so quickly. The doctor was very professional and caring. Thank you, all!

I took my son to the ER late one night since he was wheezing and he is an asthma patient. Despite the wheezes being audible, the triage person (did not feel like a nurse at all) asked us to be seated, and off he went. He even called a person who came after me first. My son’s wheezing or asthma condition was not enough to trigger any sort of compassion or concern. TRIAGE is done to determine which patient has a more severe medical issue and should be seen first. Certainly, this particular individual does not have even one qualification to run a triage. We left AMA as I could not bear to see my son in such a pain.

I received exceptional care when I went to the Tidelands Waccamaw Community ER for a minor emergency. Within a few minutes of checking in, a nurse saw me. My vitals were taken, and I was shifted to the ER room in a wheelchair. A nurse came and took all the relevant details. I saw a doctor within a few minutes of arrival. The doctor interviewed me and diagnosed my ailment and wrote an appropriate script. The whole visit ended in less than an hour. The place is clean and very modern. The staff was also very professional, attentive and caring. Both the nursing staff as well as the doctor had excellent bedside manners. I would recommend this hospital to everyone.
