I ended up taking my niece to Texas General after she sprained her ankle. This happened on a Saturday evening. Despite it being weekend, the staff attended to us immediately. They made my niece take an x-ray to rule out a fracture. Once fracture was ruled out, they put her in a soft brace and sent us on our way. They took very good care of her. Thank you for all your efforts!!!

I've been a regular patient of Texas General Hospital ER before, and so have my other family members. They have never mistreated us. They are very knowledgeable and always take great care of us. We have never faced any issues here and sincerely hope it remains the same till we continue seeking care here. Besides being knowledgeable, they are very caring, friendly, and know how to deal with patients. I would always go back to this hospital and also take my family members for any medical need

Took my son to the ER after he had some skin rashes. The nincompoop who was running the show in the ER takes a good look at it and tells, “Your son could either have bed bugs or it could be scabies. Get an OTC anti scabies lotion.” Hello, I did not bring my son to the ER to hear this weird diagnosis. If you are not sure, then tell it, and I will take my son to another hospital.

I did end up going to another hospital where they diagnosed him with a fungal infection and gave required medicine. WON’T COME BACK HERE.

The staff at Texas General Hospital gave me a very pleasant surprise when it came to their care and knowledge about the various diseases. I had gone to the ER a few days back. The wait was not bad and I was seen by a doctor in quick time. The doctor evaluated me, talked with me for nearly 10 minutes, and only after that did she give a diagnosis. The billing was also done without any issues. In fact, my entire duration of ER visit lasted for only two hours…now that is very fast for me
