Tanner Medical Center - East Alabama is the best when it comes to treating your ailments. I have been to this hospital twice or thrice, and I was treated very well every single time. The staff is very loveable and good at what they are doing. The emergency staff is great. Whenever I visited the hospital, I never felt rushed. The staff was always ready to help me. They have bowled me over with their behavior. If you want good care by compassionate and caring professionals, then this is the hospital for you.

The staff at Tanner Medical Center-East Alabama are very caring and highly professional. I once visited the ER with severe leg pain and was unable to stand for even a minute. The front desk executive came to me and helped me fill all the paperwork and also helped in getting the insurance approval and sent me to the ER. The on-call doctor was very courteous and did a complete check and asked me to get a scan of my leg which revealed a lack of blood flow to the lower portion of the leg. I was triaged and sent for appropriate treatment. All this happened within three hours. Thank you, guys!!!!

Went to the TMC-East Alabama emergency department with severe abdominal pain. Once there, I was scanned and told that I had a kidney stone. I was treated for it and sent home. However, the pain persisted, and when I went to see my PCP, I was asked to get a rescan which revealed that I had one more kidney stone which was blocking the kidney. Thanks to the very unprofessional doctor at TMC-East Alabama, I ended up in another hospital for two days for the completely avoidable treatment and resultant complications. Horrible!!!!

My PCP asked me to undergo some blood tests as part of the investigations for frequent bouts of fever that I had been having for the past few months. Now that was easier said than done. I have a fear of needles and simply cannot stand the sight of needles. But the lab technicians at TMC-East Alabama were great. They were very professional and took great care of me. I never realized when the tech poked the needle and drew blood for the tests. Best lab techs that I have ever come across.

Visited TMC-East Alabama ER for a minor procedure and went to the billing department to pay where I got the shock of my life. I was charged in upwards of $500 which is high even for a corporate hospital. Sensing something was wrong, I talked to the person handling the billing department, but she just did not understand anything. It finally ended after I went bonkers and dragged the hospital administration in and instilled some sense in them. Get your act together, TMC, lest you might have to close down.

A freak injury forced me to rush to the TMC-East Alabama ER where a scan revealed that I had a navicular fracture. I was cleaned up and dressed and asked to wait for the orthopedic surgeon who would suggest further treatment. I said okay. This waiting went for six hours, and there was still no sign of the orthopedic surgeon. Enough of waiting. I just walked out of the door.

Wanting to put an end to my sleep disorder, I scheduled an appointment with Tanner Center For Sleep Disorders, and I was asked to come down to the center by 9:30 am. I reached the center and was ushered into the specialist’s office within 10 minutes. Had a great session with the doctor who advised some exercises and wrote one or two medications. The whole session was over under an hour. The entire staff was very helpful and made my visit to the center something to remember. I would suggest visiting Tanner Center For Sleep Disorders for all your somnolence issues.

I was advised to get PT as part of postoperative care following surgery to my left foot. Since TMC-East Alabama was the nearest hospital, I called them to inquire if Wedowee facility offered any physical therapy. The person who answered the phone said, “Yes, we do offer them at Brennan facility.” She hung up. I called again and asked them to tell me specifically whether Wedowee facility offered any type of physical therapy. I was asked to wait and then transferred and ended up in voice mail. To say I was pissed off would be an understatement.

Tanner Medical Center should appoint people with brains in their front desk as these dumbos can end up destroying whatever reputation the hospital has.

I was visiting a friend and unfortunately ended up with food poisoning and was rushed to TMC-East Alabama emergency department. The staff was very caring and professional and gave the necessary treatment and discharged me. I would like to thank the front desk for making this happen. They went out of their way to check whether my insurance was approved and I receive prompt treatment.

I am not sure about any bad reviews, and frankly, I do not care about the bad reviews. Everybody has expectations and when they reach the ER they feel that only they have emergencies and others have come to while away their time. I have been to the Tanner Medical Center – East Alabama quite a few times for treatment for myself, my friends and family and each time we received highly professional care. I am proud of the team that staffs the hospital and would always wish the best for them.

I had taken my mother, aged 95 for a checkup after her fever had spiked to 104. The emergency department team were very professional and took great care of my mother. They did all the tests and then triaged her as a precautionary measure. We were there for three days and never faced any sort of problems. Thank you, TMC-East Alabama for taking great care of my mother!!!! All of you would be in our prayers, and we wish nothing but success for all of you!!!

My son had a temperature which was waxing and waning. Concerned, we took him to TMC-East Alabama ER. The on-call doctor was very professional and treated my son well. He not only addressed the fever but also found out the source of the fever. It was an ear infection. He wrote a script for the ear infection. The fever subsided after a few days and has not returned till date. The staff was very caring and very professional. I would highly recommend visiting this wonderful hospital to address all the healthcare needs of you and your family.
