I’ve been coming to Swedish Medical Center for a long time but the last time, I was in for a bit of a shock.
The doctors I usually see were unavailable and the only staff there was not very nice.
They diagnosed me alright but my doctor had a horrible attitude about him that made me almost uncomfortable!
He was being unusually rude and sexist to the young nurse, while she was only trying to do her job, although not as efficient as I would have liked. Either way, I figured she was new to it and didn’t complain.
The doctor was making her feel increasingly uneasy.
I will definitely not go see him again.

Amy! You are an absolute doll! I was kept overnight for observation after a bad fall. Amy was my night nurse and she was the most caring accommodating woman I met! She reminded me so much of my own mother, almost making me tear up when I said goodbye. The doctors were quite pleasant and made sure I was taken care of well.

Great service, easy to check in and check out, smooth bill payment processes and a very nice set of doctors makes this place one of my favorites. I come here whenever I need medical care, no questions asked.

They people are very helpful here and it’s almost inviting to come back to Swedish Medical Center. Though I wish I don’t need to go back to a hospital for a while, I definitely will come back here when I do.

There was a recent change in management and let me just put it out there, the experience has changed—for the worse!
The old management system and processes were so much easier and made sense. There are some new fancy processes they have introduced that really doesn’t sit well with old folks like me. I wish they would have kept it simple and easy. This really stresses you out, all this moving around. Also, I the people sitting at reception should be well informed of the things that go on in the medical center and at the very least, know where the various departments are. An old man like me does not want to be running around looking for his doctor.

Other than the fact that you have to pay for parking, everything else about Swedish Medical Center is fine. I do believe it took less time before to get checked in and stuff, but I could be wrong. The line at the doctor’s was also a lot longer. Not sure if it was just my bad luck that I kept getting stuck in a pool of people. Either way, when I finally did get to see the doctor, he was helpful and very cooperative. I still like Swedish Medical.
