I recently came here for a same-day procedure. I was highly impressed with what I saw and how they treated me. Everyone was great. The registration nurse was a nice lady and took down all the relevant information in super quick time and without any type of errors. The pre-op nurses, the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and the post-op nurses were great. All of them treated me well. Everything seemed like a well-oiled machine and thanks to them; I was on my way six hours after I first walked in. Terrific experience.

My father was having issues with breathing, serious enough to warrant an urgent visit to the ER. Unfortunately, this shithole was the nearest to us, and I rushed him here. The ER was quite full. However, he was seen in pretty quickly, an IV set up and a doctor came in to check him within ten minutes. He talked with him for five to ten minutes and then walked off. An hour passes by, and then a nurse comes and injects a drug into the IV. When inquired what the drug was, the nurse responds it was Benadryl, which my father is allergic to. As he starts convulsing, the nurse is the first one to escape leaving us to hold him till another nurse came by and handled the situation. The first nurse did not even read my father’s chart, name tag, etc. Nothing. Due to this irresponsible act, I nearly lost my father. I would not recommend this hospital to even my arch enemy.

Had to visit the ER for a minor issue and have to admit, it was a fun experience. The front desk was kind and very efficient. The only issue was that they spoke very softly and I had to strain myself to hear what they were saying. I went in and was seen by a PA. He ordered an x-ray to determine if I had a fracture in my toe. The tech who took the x-ray was very professional and gave the report in a jiffy. I was in and out of the ER within two hours.

We brought our 08 YO for severe leg and body cramping that was going on for nearly two to three hours. We wanted to rule out dehydration. We were made to wait for hardly 10 minutes before a wonderful nurse came and took her in. The nurse was kind, attentive, sensitive, and explained all the step that she was taking to ensure that my nervous daughter could recover. The doctor came and saw her and ordered fluids. She had the most painless IV setup ever. The treatment lasted for four hours and never did we face any issue! Swedish Edmonds is very clean, has friendly, accommodating, and kind staff. We would be here for any type of healthcare issues.
