I had to go to the Sutter ER following severe earache. While being taken in, I had told them not to give me any opioids as I was doing two jobs. What do these idiots do…they give me a morphine shot. The next step is CT scan…yes they go in a reverse order…first medicine and then a scan. The scan turns out to be negative. They discharge me saying I am alright and the morphine should do the trick. I could not believe it. They did not inspect my ear at all when I had gone there for an earache. It was like going to your wedding and doing everything except getting married. The bedside manners of the nurses and the doctor were terrible. They did not give me enough respect. Not willing to step in again…

I have a serious medical condition which flares up repeatedly. Since this is the nearest hospital to my home, Sutter is my first port of call. I have been so frequent here that the staff knows me very well. I need not tell them why I came there. They take me in, give me medications, and let the flare subside and then discharge me. Each time that I have been here, the staff has treated me exceptionally well. Never have I faced any issues either on the medical front or another aspect. Will always seek care here

I visit a place or a hospital after seeing the reviews. This place had so many negative reviews that I was not happy when my GP referred me here after a sudden stomachache left me immobile. My wife calls the doctor, who advises me to come here. I visit the place and get a very pleasant surprise. The staff take me in very quickly and then back to the room within 30 minutes. The doctor comes in and palpates my stomach. He listens to my version and then orders the magic pill – a laxative. My stomachache was due to a lack of bowel movements. I had forgotten the fact that I had been constipated for quite some now. The doctor admits me for overnight stay. By morning, I am pain-free, and the doctor discharges me.

Excellent professionalism by the doctor. If he had wanted, he could have just ordered a CT to mint some money and gave some placebo pills, but he did not do those things. All he did was palpate my stomach and give a laxative. Very happy. Won’t hesitate to return for any medical issues
