I have read quite a few reviews dissing this hospital and its emergency services. Well, I won’t agree to it, since my experience in this ER (I have come five times this year for different reasons) has always been pleasant. I won’t delve into the previous visits but will share my experience during the last visit.

Last month, my mother had a sudden episode of left-sided chest pain and fell unconscious. We were shit scared and called the ambulance. The EMTs were excellent and took wonderful care of mother while we were taking her to Sutter Delta. The attention which she got while she was here was in complete contrast to all the reviews that are saying in various forums. The ER team immediately got down to the task, and before long, there were nearly five nurse and three specialists who were taking care of her.

Luckily, she survived the attack but had to stay in the hospital for nearly five days. The care that mom got while she was inpatient was the same, or I could say even better. The best part, she had her room.

Oh, nearly forgot!!! The hospital does not allow anybody to walk in and see the patient. The guards check the ID in the lobby while you are entering…that’s one more layer of protection.

I know this is my experience, and others might have their own opinion, but then I thought I would share a positive review. Keep it going, Sutter Delta

These bozos forgot that I was still in the ER room!!!!!!

I had injured myself when I landed heavily on my chest after a fall. I came here and waited for nearly two hours before a nurse came and saw me. The injury was causing me to breathe heavily. The RN came and immediately took me to the X-ray room, walking. No wheelchair….walking.

In the x-ray room, a very rude lady was at the imaging station. She asked me to strip but did not give any privacy. X-ray is done, and I am made to sit in the ER room. After that, it seemed everybody vanished. I waited in the room for nearly three hours. Pressed the call button several times but nobody came.

Finally, I was able to catch hold of a nursing assistant and asked her to send a nurse. A nurse comes, looks at me, goes away, returns after 5 minutes with my discharge papers.

I do not know what the x-ray result was and did not even see a doctor…Worst ER experience ever

I am happy with the care that I got here. The staff was friendly, and the doctors very competent and highly knowledgeable. Would not hesitate to come back again, if the need arises
