I do not know how to react to the particular situation that we faced. Our baby received her first hepatitis B shot after she was born. Fast forward to three months; we receive a letter from the hospital stating that the Hep B shot which our baby got was useless and very ineffective. Initially taken aback, upon further reading, it was made known to us in the letter that the Hep B shot was useless because it was not kept in the right temp. Now, this was ridiculous. My husband is from the pharmaceutical industry and repeatedly asked the nurse about the temp, and the nurse also responded positively to the questions. So either the nurse was lying, or the hospital is lying, and my suspicion is pointing towards the hospital.

The ER staff seems to have taken the recent downsizing of their hospital to their heart. They are snappy, very rude and least bothered about providing necessary services. They are very arrogant and refuse to listen to their patients. Their haughty behavior resulted in a completely laughable, yet potentially dangerous misdiagnosis. I would suggest you stay away from the hospital unless you have only a few seconds to live and the rest of the world has been smashed to smithereens. Oh, nearly forgot. The ER staff has not heard something called HIPAA. I heard two to three nurses talking about patient details loud enough for others to listen.

Normally, I do not write reviews about the hospital as each has their own experience. However, I would like to make an exception this one time. I visited the Sturgis ER early morning. Even during those hours, the staff was very active and treated me very professionally. The doctor was a great individual and had answers for every single doubt of mine. I am extremely happy with the team, which treated me. You guys rock

This is essentially a THANK YOU note

It is very sad to hear that Sturgis has closed down its OB unit. I have had some wonderful memories of that unit. The staff that was handling the OB was excellent. I delivered both of my children here. My second delivery was a very complicated one, but the OB doctor and the nurses made sure that there were no issues during the delivery. Sincere thanks to the wonderful people who worked in the OB department. It is because of you people that I am alive today to write a thank you note. All of you would always be in our prayers

I was referred to the Sturgis Radiology Depart by my GP for an x-ray of my left leg, which had been bothering me a lot. I reached the department at the scheduled time. The tech was a great person – very jovial and helpful. He took an x-ray but called me back within a few minutes as he was not satisfied with the x-ray. It turns out that on the second ray, a clear crack of the shin bone was evident. Thanks to him, I received appropriate care, and my pain has almost vanished. Thank You
