Probably had one of the worst medical experiences ever. These guys suck big time. I was in terrible pain and was hollering and what the doc does…just gives a wry smile. I tell him between the sobs that I am in terrible pain and not able to sit still. His answer, “Okay, I will prescribe Valium.” He never evaluated me properly nor asked me anything, just saw the chart. He was in the room for a minute, not a second more. That resulted in misdiagnosis. I had to call up my PCP who advised visiting another hospital ASAP. I left AMA and went to another hospital where scans revealed that I had a perforated intestine and needed emergent surgery.

Valium for pain…just cannot think about it at all. Won’t step in again!

If you love yourself and your loved one, then please avoid this hospital at all costs. No hesitation in stating that Stormont Vail Hospital is the shitiest hospital in entire Kansas. These b******s would not help you but are ready to charge your insurance. I was misdiagnosed, and so was my wife, and it was our sheer luck that we did not end up dying here.

A wonderful community hospital. I was a visitor to this hospital with my loved one admitted here for fever and other complications. While the doctors and nurses were wonderful and ever ready to help, what I liked the most about this place was the food. It was very good, and we had many options to choose from. Very caring staff. Good food. Excellent care….what else does one want when sick

I’ve had my child here. I am a frequent visitor of the ER and have never faced any issues that would warrant seeking care from somewhere else. Once or twice I did face some issues but was able to nip it in the bud itself. On a scale of 10, I would rate the staff as 9 (nobody is perfect). They are friendly, very informative, and comforting when the need arises. I would recommend it to my family & friends

Extremely pleased with the wonderful customer service I received here. I know how tough it is working in an emergency room setting, dealing with various people, etc. I really appreciate the efforts that the doctor and nurses put to ensure that I was back on my feet in a jiffy. Ultimate Respect!!!!
