If you want to survive, then this is the last place you should visit when you are sick. The nurses are rude, behave stupidly and form an opinion about a person straight away. They also do not have any botheration about patient care and emotions. I have witnessed the nurses calling some patients by their symptoms…they also freely discuss the patient details with each other. No worries about HIPAA here

The doctors are no better. They are incompetent and hardly have a clue about what ails a patient. They, however, do not have any worries in ordering a plethora of tests even if it is unrelated to a case. My insurance accepts this hospital, so I am stuck here, but am planning to visit another hospital or just change my insurance…twice I have become a victim of their incompetence and do not want to risk my life anymore

My father was brought here last week and was admitted to the floor for observation and treatment. He received the best possible care that was on offer. The doctor and nurses were excellent and highly knowledgeable and kept us in the loop with regards to his health updates….At the time of discharge, the doctor even gave tips on preventing a recurrence. Very pleased with the way I have been treated here

The ER doctor who treated me is very knowledgeable, and Starr County Memorial should be pleased to have someone like him on its payrolls. I was having breathing difficulties, and routine tests and scans revealed nothing significant. However, the doctor was unconvinced and ordered another test to take a closer look at my trachea and there it was.

Thanks to his persistence, the doctor was able to see a small abnormal growth in my windpipe, which was the reason for my breathing difficulties. A prompt referral was made to an oncologist who ordered tests which confirmed it was a malignant tumor and appropriate treatment ensued.

Thanks to the wonderful doctor, I am still alive. Sir, you would always be in my prayers.

Very pleased with the care that I got here…the hospital staff was excellent and highly professional. They do not talk much, at least the nurses whom I interacted with, but when they speak…they speak only relevant and important things. They kept my family updated and also made sure I was comfortable during my stay here. Very happy with the care that I got here
