I was taken to the ER of this hospital because of sudden abdominal pains. I must say there was hardly any waiting time and very soon I was diagnosed with and admitted for gall bladder problems. It was later revealed by the doctor that my gall bladder had to be removed. It came as a sudden shock to me but the nurses were kind enough to calm me down and help me feel better. I was very soon prepped for a laproscopic surgery to get my gall bladder removed. And the nurses ensured that I feel at ease at all times. And one of them would always be by my side to impart confidence and make me feel good. The food was simple yet quite decent too.

I can confidently go back in there if at all a need arises.

My mom underwent a surgery here a few years back and I was quite impressed by the way the staff handled everything on their. They only came to me for signatures and that’s it! Nothing beyond that! They handled everything from pre-admission formalities to the surgery and post-operative care like a pro. I don’t remember the doctor’s name now; but he was simply out of the world. Everything went on so smooth that I could work the whole day from the hospital.

I have not visited any hospital worse than this. I have been here twice and I had the same experience with these idiots. The receptionist is so damn rude and the doctors think they landed straight from heaven. This place is a joke in the name of a hospital and they have absolutely no value for the lives of their patients. Such hospitals should be closed down on priority basis. Money minded nincompoops!!!

I have not been a fortunate soul off late because I have had to make many a visits to hospitals for one reason or the other in the recent times. I have not had awesome experiences in any of the hospitals but this one was the most decent of all. The staff was good, pally and accommodating. They took reasonably good care of me.

What I could not stand at all was the food that was served to us patients. I am used to eating good, high quality, tasty food and the food served here was all bland and mediocre.

One fine morning, I suddenly developed severe chest pain as well as shortness of breath. St Vincent was the nearest; so I somehow drove down here. The intake nurse was an unreasonable woman. She snapped at me and made me wait for more than two hours to take me in and do an EKG. Then another one hour to get a chest X-Ray done and then another two hours for something else.

I wonder had my case been a real emergency, would I have even survived or not. What if there was a clot in my lungs or some kind of fluid blockage. I don’t think these people understand the meaning of urgency or how to take care of the patients who trust in them and come to their hospital for help.

I honestly wish the situation over here makes an improvement as this place is closest to my home.

I was treated by a very good team of doctors here in this hospital and I love them for that. But at the same time, all the nurses who I encountered on my stay here were damn rude and good for nothing. They have so much of attitude in them and they think too much of themselves.

I was admitted here for a week and I had to bear with the horrible attitude of the nurses here. I think just because of them, if I have a choice, I would never come back here no matter how good the doctors are.

I went into anaphylaxis because of a bee sting and had to be rushed to hospital in order to save my life. I thought I would die that day but thanks to the doctors, nurses and their team at St Vincent who helped me save my life. I was hell scared that day because I thought I would lose my life that day.

But that day when I was brought into St Vincent, a team of doctors, nurses and specialists immediately ensured that I am attended to and taken care of. My friend who brought me in also said that the nurses ensured things went on smoothly and they were even kind enough to check on my friend and offer her something to eat. Such a humane treatment! Far beyond anybody’s expectations….loved the place and if at all I have to be admitted again because of any reason, I am sure, I will come back in here only and go nowhere else.

I had to undergo a hip replacement surgery last year and after weeks of research, I finally chose St Vincent’s. And as I went in for the preliminary check-ups and medical examinations, everybody made sure I did not have to wait for a long time and ensured the process was smooth.

And even during the time of surgery, everyone seemed to be all calm and composed and that gave me the confidence too. Post-surgery, initially, I was given a very small room and when I expressed my concerns about difficulty in moving around, I was immediately shifted to a bigger room. The nurses were all very attentive and every time I needed something, they made sure I had it without any further delay. I couldn’t ask for more from the nurses; they were compassionate, attentive, professional and caring. I have been to hospitals even before but never ever have I encountered such nurses who are class apart; they are altogether a different breed.

Plus point – The food they serve to the patients is healthy, wholesome and tasty at the same time. As usual, I expected the hospital food to be gross but I was taken in for a pleasant surprise.
