Recently took a close family member to this place for cancer treatments. She received excellent care. I have to admit I have not comes across such wonderful and professional care in any of the hospitals that we have gone so far. Thank you for taking very good care of Sue. Sue, unfortunately, lost her battle with cancer, but as family members, we can be satisfied with the fact that she got the best treatment possible.

Most racist hospital in the state of Michigan. I asked a nurse for a place where I could have my lunch since the family room was full. If looks could kill, I would have been dead by now. The nurse was annoyed that I asked such a silly question. She told me that I could eat anywhere in the hospital, even near the bathroom and she was least bothered if I ate or if I died of hunger. She was not here to address concerns of a black. The next day, I asked for a cup of ice for my wife. The nursing assistant gave the most evilest stare and told me he was not my slave, and if I wanted ice, I would have to get it on my own. Thank God, my wife was looked after by some very good doctors and nurses. Will never recommend this shithole to anyone!!!!

My friend was taken to this hospital with severe chest pain. She was wheeled into the ER at 7:30 PM. They pronounced her dead at 7:58 PM. We were not told about the death until 10:30 PM. We came to know about death when we asked for an update about her health. The nurse who came to inform us told in a very casual tone, “she is dead.” The nurse said the hospital would give us a call in two days for funeral arrangements etc. They never called. When we called the hospital, they said it is not their duty to call up relatives of dead patients. They are not paid for that. That was not it. When her personal belongings were given back, all we got were her shoes, some coins, and her spectacles. Pants, cellphone, jacket, etc. were all missing. We have been calling the hospital ever since, but these f&*^%g idiots are making us run around. Sometimes, they won't answer our calls, sometimes would put us on hold to even being told that it might have been stolen. One gentleman even said that we should check with the ambulance company. We called them, and the company personnel told us that she certainly had her cellphone, jacket, and pants on when she was with them.

Absolutely disgusting and terrible hospital. They do not even have the shame to steal from dead patients. Please stay away from this hospital. If they cannot respect the dead, then I am not sure they could respect living beings.

Since becoming a part of Mercy Healthcare, St. Mary Hospital has seen a turnaround. The team is great, and the doctors have been nice gentlemen and ladies. I visited this hospital after being involved in a car accident which resulted in the breaking of my kneecap. The team of nurses and doctors and surgeons did a pretty good job of repairing it. Thanks to them, I am on my feet

Excellent ER. Professional team of nurses and doctors who know what they are doing. The hospital is spotless and has good seating arrangements. The front office staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly impressed by the hospital. I would seek care for my family and me at St. Mary Mercy Hospital
