This is ridiculous…..

I had an appointment to see Dr. Paul Perona. The scheduled time was 2:30 PM…His office is about an hour’s drive from my home. I start by 12:30 PM and reach the place by 1:45 PM…way before the scheduled time…

When I reach the place and check my phone, I see several calls from my husband. Worried, I call him back and ask the reason for his calls. He told me that the receptionist from Dr. Perona’s office called him at 12:45 PM and said that I was late for my appointment…Late??? My card read 2:30…

I reach the reception and show my card….she very calmly said that since I was not responding to call for a delayed appointment, they have rescheduled it to 3:30 PM…I shove the appointment onto her face and ask her to see the time mentioned….She does not look at it and says she will try to work me in...Guess when did they work me in….2:30 PM…my original scheduled appointment.

I see the doctor, and while walking out asked the receptionist why did she enact such a drama…her reply was epic. “It can happen. You saw the doctor that is important.” I rested my case.

I am not sure if I will even think of coming back here…cannot handle such callousness when it comes to healthcare.

My wife underwent a left knee replacement at St. Margaret's in July. She was back to her usual self by the end of third week. It was brilliant. All of us are amazed by the care she got here. She only had to stay for a night in the hospital. The therapy took 21 days, and Jane was back to her normal life. It felt as if she got her life back.

We cannot thank the entire team that was involved in her care enough. Every stage was well-planned, and things went very smoothly, like a well-oiled machine. I strongly recommend this hospital if you need any knee replacement

I had a very pleasant experience while I was here. I had come to the ER for a severe toothache. The ER doctor was a fantastic guy. Very professional, he had excellent bedside manners. He evaluated me thoroughly and told me that this was something for a dentist to look at, but he would give some pain meds to tide over. He even went ahead and fixed an appointment with the dentist for the next day.

I visited the dentist the next day, and the reason for the toothache was found – a dental abscess. Immediate treatment was started. Very happy with the professionalism on display
