St. Joseph is another addition to the long list of hospitals which are a bolt on healthcare. It is a perfect example of what one calls a joke of a hospital. Unfortunately, I had to visit the ER a few nights back. The ER front desk was, well an empty front desk. There was not a single soul on the seat. After a long wait, a guy comes and fills out the paperwork. I wanted to get an EKG and am ushered into the lab. The tech taking the EKG is grumpy and has a big ego. He was also super rude. After the test, I waited in the waiting room for nearly an hour. Nobody called. I went and checked with the front desk, and the report was with him. He said he called me three to four times. I never heard it. I just took the report and walked out promising myself never to step foot in this hospital again.

I underwent surgery two months back at St Joseph and received nothing but excellent care. EVERYBODY whom I came across was friendly, professional and caring. The nursing staff was great and ensured that I was recuperating well in the recovery. I would recommend this hospital. THANK YOU to all those who took care of me from pre-op to discharge.

Went to the ER on a weekday in the morning hours. Was seen by the doctor without any delay. I was also out of the hospital within an hour. Attentive staff, and extremely wonderful and knowledgeable doctor.

Staff at St. Joseph has a big attitude problem. They do not even acknowledge your presence. Whenever you ask them anything, they act as if you are a burden. The girl who was handling the front desk was more intent on chewing gum than talking with us. Absolutely obnoxious behavior. The nurses are very smart and know how to hide their name so that we cannot complain against them. Worst customer service.

Any ER visit is scary and particularly so when you are alone, and your family is out of town. I had to face this issue two nights back. Had gone for a walk, felt dizzy, and tripped and fell, hurting my hand very badly. I go to the ER desk, and explain everything to the very understanding lady. She sends me in immediately. The nurse, knowing that blood work and tests would be important, starts to prepare for the same. I am in a room, and the doctor walks in, an affable gentleman with excellent bedside manners. He introduces himself and makes me understand what happened and explains the tests he intends to take and their benefits. The staff was caring and absolutely wonderful. I truly appreciate the quality of care that I received. Thank you!! God Bless You
