It will be a travesty if one ends up calling the staff of this hellhole, "professionals." They certainly are not, and I do not think they even have a clue of what it means. The staff at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital are the most incompetent staff I have ever come across. They are uncaring and most flippant people in the entire healthcare industry. This includes the administrative staff, housekeeping, and medical staff. Stay away from this hospital if you want to stay healthy.

The medical team which handled the treatment of my mother is a very caring and understanding team. I agree this hospital is not very modern, but then this hospital does what it is supposed to do, treat people. If you are going to St. John’s Episcopal expecting the Four Seasons care, then you would be hugely disappointed. I also agree that there is a long wait time in the ER, but then this is NY and emergencies do happen always. So one should stop whining about it.

This hospital treated my father well. He had fractured his right femur after a bad fall and given his age, fractures can be nasty. Have to say, the staff did a great job in not only fixing the fracture but also helping him get back on his feet in a super quick time. The staff was caring, and every individual we interacted with were friendly and understanding; that included the social worker, nurses, nursing assistants, and physician assistants. Even the doctors were good. Not sure if this is genuine or a show, but then who cares. As long as he was taken good care of, I am least bothered.

Highly impressed with this hospital. The quality of care which my wife received on an early Saturday morning in the emergency visit was great. She was down with a UTI, and her fever had spiked. We wheeled her into the ER, and they immediately took over. The intake process was smooth. The nursing staff and doctor were kind, friendly, and professional. My wife has noticed a tremendous improvement since receiving treatment here. Pleased that St. John’s is serving our community.
