A big thank you to an incredible and outstanding staff at Spencer Hospital. We were visiting our relatives when my mother ended up getting a stroke. We were guided to this hospital, and it was the best decision. They started the treatment even before the paperwork was completed. The front desk sent my mother in immediately after seeing her condition. Her words – she is important right now – were like words of Jesus himself. The ER nurses and doctors who treated her were great. Thank you for taking good care of my mother. Thank you!

The staff at Spencer hospital is great. They provide excellent services. One has to remember that this is the best hospital in Iowa before panning it. I have visited this hospital a few times, and I have always received excellent care. The nurses are very friendly and ready to help you. The doctors are also top notch. They are not pushy and ready to listen to you. It is wonderful that we have such an excellent hospital in our community

The staff is the best. I had to rush to the Spencer ER with a sliced finger, which was bleeding very badly. I drove to the ER myself and literally ran to the front desk to register myself. I was taken in quickly and then taken back almost instantly. The nurse cleaned the wound thoroughly and took steps to stop the blood flow. The on-call doctor came, saw the wound, ordered an x-ray and a tetanus shot. The x-ray was fine. The doctor then stitched the wound in quick time. My finger was placed in a splint, and I was given a shot, painkillers, and antibiotics.

The whole process got over within an hour. Never felt I was being rushed. The staff was extremely professional and took good care of me

Spencer Hospital is a terrible hospital. The staff and the doctors who run the show are lazy bums. They get off their asses only when you have insurance. If you have insurance, then they end up running an entire gamut of the tests, 90% of which would not be required. In the unfortunate event that you do not have insurance, then best of luck for getting proper care at Spencer Hospital. They rush you, and every intent is to push you out as fast as possible. Avoid… Avoid… Avoid
