Edinburg Children’s Hospital has some of the best pediatric ER nurses you can find in the country. They are professional and take excellent care of their patients. My son was brought here with a high fever. He was addressed to without delay and thanks to timely treatment, Vivian is doing great now and ready to go home. The nurses and doctors genuinely care, and this reflects in the treatment regimen. Thank you

My son was admitted to the PICU after the high fever had led to convulsions and throwing up. The staff was amazing! The doctors and nurses treated him well. They found the reason for the fever – an infected pancreas, the reason for the infection – trauma from bicycle bar injury. The infection was treated, and after a stay of two weeks, my son was ready to go home. Thank you and big bear hugs to all those who participated in the care of my child

I had to wait for an x-ray for nearly five hours, which I was informed would be given within 30 minutes after it is taken. The nurses and nursing assistants had no clue as to what was happening. They also misplaced my ID card. They also tried to play hanky-panky with my insurance, but I scuttled it. Just because I am 16 does not mean that I do not know how things run in a hospital. I ended up calling my parents, and after getting a piece of their mind, the x-ray report was ready, and the misplaced ID card was suddenly found beneath the chair. Not returning any time soon.

My daughter was brought to the Edinburgh Children’s ER after a persistent high fever. We were taken in but then made to wait in the lobby for nearly four hours. I asked the nurse if she can be given something for fever or at least water, but Nooo was the answer. The nurses were very rude and a complete misfit in a children’s hospital. My patience ran out, and I walked out after waiting for five hours…Won't trust them with the care of my precious.

Recently my niece needed ER care. We called several people, and all of them suggested visiting Edinburg Children’s Hospital. We rushed her there, hoping and praying that there may not be any rush. We reached the hospital, and Jen was received immediately, assessed, and treatment started within 15 minutes. After a stay of two hours, we were on our way. The staff was great and took exceptional care of Jen. They not only eased our worries but also provided valuable education. Highly recommended
