Terrible!!!!! Awful!!!! BS Care!!!!

These sum up the experience that I have had at this hospital. I had visited for a minor emergency which should not have taken more than an hour, but I ended up spending four hours for it. The staff was rude to me, and I felt I had interrupted their leisure time. I was taken back to the room after four hours and was seen by a PA.

She was a kind-hearted soul who tried to make my experience a bit more enjoyable, but there is a limit to what she could do. Won’t be back at this hospital at least in this lifetime.

I am astounded by the professionalism of South Bay Hospital’s medical staff. They deserve a big shout out and a huge round of applause. Everything moved like a well-oiled machine here. I was here for surgery, and the surgery started on time and was successful.

The surgeon and the nurses were wonderful people and made sure that I understood what was happening and kept my wife updated. After a one-day stay for observation, I was on my way. The icing on the cake was the phone call from the surgery team to check how I was doing, after a month. Now, who would do it?

THANK YOU

I visited South Bay for an x-ray as ordered by my PCP. Though it was a small thing, the radiology department made sure that my experience at this place was pleasant. The staff was prompt, courteous, and made it a point to answer every question with a beautiful smile. The tech was a nice person and took enough precautions. I might have spent only an hour at this place, but I am highly impressed.

I am thinking of shifting my care to this place

I had an enjoyable hospital experience at this place. I was admitted here for a nasty infection which had resulted in very high fever and started affecting the functioning of my other organs. The doctors and specialists were exceptional and provided every possible treatment that would have helped me in recovering. The nurses were also wonderful and attentive to every single need of mine, and I did not have to wait for long whenever I pressed the call button.

My room was clean, and the housekeeping did a great job to ensure it was clean all the time. The food was also good. It was not gourmet, but still hearty and fulfilling. I was pleasantly surprised by the food’s quality because it is a big task preparing palatable food for so many people who have varied tastes as well as restrictions.

The medical staff was also amiable and had a smile all the time. They always introduced themselves, so that we had an idea on whom we were dealing with. Very nice gesture...
