I was down with a high fever on New Year’s Eve, and no hospitals or ER would take me in. Finally, I was driven to Sonoma Valley Hospital where the team took me in pretty quickly, ran a few tests and I was diagnosed as having flu. I have only good things to tell about this hospital. The nurse was a very sweet lady. The doctor was a thorough professional, and the whole visited lasted 90 minutes. Thank you!

I planned to go on a vacation to NJ, but I was down with a fever, and I suspected I might be having shingles. Since I was planning to visit a friend who had small children, I wanted to make sure all was well. I went to SVH. In my desperation to get there quickly, I forgot my proof of insurance. The front desk lady was very sweet and asked me to pay $500 in advance, and balance would be adjusted with me at the time of discharge. After my consultation is over, I get a bill of $3157.00 and an additional bill of $451 for the doctor. I was shocked because the amount of time I spent with the doctor was less than 10 minutes.

I asked for an itemized bill but never got any response. They gave some excuse or the other. I cannot even talk about the glare which I got from the doctor when I talked about using essential oils for treating myself. He was also not sure about the contagiousness of the disease.

I used the lab of Sonoma Valley Hospital for the first time, and it was a good experience. I was registered in quickly and was sent into the lab. The tech was very professional, and he was able to draw the blood in the first attempt only. I was in and out of the lab within 15 minutes. I'm happy that we have such a wonderful lab in Sonoma.
