I would not prefer going to any other place after my visit to Singing River Hospital. The hospital is different from many others just because their staff care enough for their patients. They are sensitive as well as attentive to their patient’s needs and would never have it any other way. I loved the manner in which the doctors, the nurses and even the admin staff took care of me while I was admitted there and even post discharge.

It is the best hospital you have around and I would definitely recommend it to anyone I know!

A few people in my friend’s circle do not seem to have a good opinion of Singing River Hospital but at the same time there are a few others like me who cannot stop singing praises about Singing River. This hospital is the closest to my home; so whenever there was a need for me or any of my family members to visit a hospital, we would always choose this place. And to this date, the decision has never disappointed us. Touchwood!

They greet you when you go in, make sure you are attended to, get you seated and ensure you are comfortable till you are seen by a nurse or a doctor. This is not just the case with me. Whenever I am in there, I have seen them treating their other patients too in the same way. The attention they pay to your minute details is remarkable….

The people who work here are the pillars of strength for this hospital. They are the ones who have been successful in transforming this building made of brick and mortar into a safe haven for their patients. Whenever I have paid a visit to this hospital, I have always found the staff to be friendly, smiling, helpful and at the same time highly professional. There is some personal touch that they add to this professionalism of theirs and that gives the magical touch to the place.

My wife underwent a surgery here last year and was admitted for a fortnight. So I know the place pretty well and because of the experience I had here, I would go on to say that this is the best choice one could have. There is a gift shop with a good selection of gift items and the food they serve at the cafeteria is at par with what you get in top notch restaurants and because of all nice people working here, there is some feel good factor about the place. The administration has definitely done a fab job!!!

But, a robbery that took place and the security’s reluctance to look into the matter carefully negated my entire experience at this hospital. I lost my wallet and couldn’t find it again. When I complained, nobody was ready to investigate about it. And then I heard someone else saying that they lost their phone too and when told the security about it, they received a lukewarm response stating that one should be careful about their own belongings.

Other than this, everything is great. So, when you gotta come to this hospital, make sure you are extra careful with your belongings.

I am new to this locality and the hospital and my first and last impression about this place – I hated my visit here and that too all because of a stupid cashier. When I came in, I was greeted well and I hoped things are all gonna be good and lo!! Here she comes!! The bitchy cashier with all the attitude in the world!

I don’t remember her name but I will never forget her face because my interaction with her was no less than a shock treatment to me. She ruined my entire day and if I was her boss, I would have fired her long back for treating patients like shit!

Kudos to her; I am not going to that crappy place again.

I have had a concoction of both good and not so good ( I wouldn’t call it bad) experiences at this hospital. There are times when I have been received well and given the utmost attention by all the staff here and then there are unlucky days when the whole atmosphere of the hospital remains dull and nobody bothers whether you live or die. They do not even acknowledge your presence on such days. I have still not been able to figure out the reasons behind such days but simultaneously there have been days (and they are more in number) when I walk in there and I am treated no less than a queen.

If I would recommend this place – Yes 50-50 chances depending on my mood as well….LOL!
