Visiting the Emergency Room at Silver Lake Medical Center would test your patience. I have come across various reviews in different forums where people have been dissing this hospital for the wait time. I never believed it was true and thought it was just the case of sour grapes…

This past Friday, I had to visit the ER for a minor emergency. When I entered the hospital, I was registered quickly and then guided to the ER…the ER was empty, not even a single soul, but it took nearly an hour for the nurses to take me in. After that, another 45 minutes of wait before being brought back to the room. The reason for the delay…well, doc is missing in action, and the nurses are busy talking with each other. It was more important than treating a patient.

The care was good, but it does not take away the sheer apathy I faced here. Not willing to step back in.

Had a work injury and injured myself badly. My colleagues brought me to this ER because it was the nearest and I was pretty messed up. The doctor and nurses were caring and very friendly. After 35 minutes of wait time, I was taken back, and the doctors stitched me up very well. He was very attentive and took on my opinion while prescribing me meds. Highly impressed

Pulled my back muscle very severely and was not able to move at all. I was brought here. The wait time was terrible….even when it was told that I was in severe pain and was not able to sit properly, they made me wait in the most uncomfortable chair around. I was able to see the doctor only after 90 minutes.

During the wait time, they never gave anything for pain. The care was rushed through. The doctor prescribed OTC pain meds and muscle relaxers…..wasted my time coming here!!!!

Last September, my wife underwent an outpatient procedure (17th September). She could not have got any better treatment. Her nurse was the best my wife could have. She was in charge of pre-op and post-op phase. Very attentive, the nurse ensured that my wife was comfortable during the entire time she was here.

The big surprise was the free transport that these fellows arranged for us. Certainly saved money on Uber.

My wife was happy with the experience

Best team a few nights back. They were very caring and professional. I had to visit the ER on September 03rd after stomach flu got me down. Even though the flu took its own time to resolve, the care which I got here was amazing. They were attentive to my needs. Won’t hesitate to come back for any medical needs
