Beware!!! Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital can kill you!! I fainted while walking back home and was brought to the hospital. The doctor diagnosed the fainting as a result of severe dehydration and advised fluids. So far so good…

The real torture started after the nurse came for setting up the IV. It was a battlefield wherein three nurses were fighting a battle to get a vein for setting up the IV. The battle ended after thirty minutes. The result – a swollen arm with multiple bruises, two of which have turned purple. The nurses set up the IV and then vanished. I was there for nearly five hours and felt very relieved when the doctor discharged me. I am now receiving treatment for the purplish bruises on my hand. Stay away from this wretched shithole.

Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital has always treated me fairly. This hospital has the most amazing staff that I have ever come across. I have visited the SNMH ER thrice, once for myself and twice for others. Every single time I was treated well. I loved the fact that the staff while being concerned about the medical care provided, are also concerned about a patient’s comfort like pillows, extra blankets, room brightness, food, noise, etc. The staff at SNMH does really care about your experience. What makes them special is the fact that the ER staff can handle ridiculously busy days with the utmost ease. I have decided to seek all my medical care at this wonderful hospital. I am thrilled that we have such an amazing hospital in our community

If you really care about the health and well-being of your family members, especially in case of an emergency, then please take my advice and avoid the ER of Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. It is one of the worst facilities and the worst staff hands down! It would be advisable to drive a little more and seek care at Auburn Faith. I went there and was treated quickly. It has a very competent and loving staff which works in a clean and private environment. I had to leave Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital with zero treatment and very traumatized. After I visited Auburn Faith, I was put on IV antibiotics. Idiots at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital was also ready to lance a wound in a completely hostile environment. Never again.
