Awful ER experience!!!! There was hardly a soul in the ER waiting room, but still, they deemed it fit to make me wait for three hours. Finally, when I was taken back to the room, the MD wanted to start the treatment right away without discussing the problem first. I did not agree with it.

That led to me waiting for one more hour in an uncomfortable cot. I was poorly treated. The MD disrespected me since I countered his point for treatment. I am a nurse, so know what is beneficial to my health. Won't be using this ER again.

My mother had a diabetic foot ulcer and whomever we asked, we were told that she would lose her toe.

My colleague asked me to visit Sharon Hospital Wound Center. We reached the center, and the first thing the doctor told was “might be some tendon, but not the whole toe.” They provided appropriate treatment and after several visits to the hyperbaric oxygen chamber; my mother is free of the ulcer, and she still has her toe. Our sincere thanks to Sharon Hospital Wound Center’s exceptional staff for care they provided to my mother.

I've been visiting Sharon Hospital since 1980. In fact, I was born here. I understand this hospital has had its share of up and downs, something which is common with small, rural hospitals. Sharon Hospital has provided the best care to my family and also my extended family. The hospital has some of the most caring doctors and nurses that I have ever come across.

It might not offer you complicated surgeries, but whatever is possible from their end to make you get better would be done. I have no problem in saying that patient care offered by Sharon Hospital is the best. The staff is caring and thoughtful. The doctors are creative and thorough while diagnosing a patient. I trust Sharon Hospital to offer the best possible care for many years to come
