It is a shame that the hospital like Shands LakeShore is still functioning. I was there to get an outpatient EKG. These good for nothing idiots made me wait for more than three hours just to inform me that it would still take an hour for my turn. I am a retired PA and know how things work in a hospital. I would have perfectly understood the situation if there was a rush, but when I went, there were hardly three to four patients, and they definitely did not have ailments that would have needed labs that last for hours.

No wonder this shitty hospital is going down the drain. Taking my business somewhere else

GREAT nurses, doctors, and techs! My fiancé was admitted for a fortnight. He had nothing but absolutely wonderful care. We did not come across one single grumbling person. All of them were happy with their job, and it reflected on the care which was provided. The hospital could do with some refurbishments, but the staff is just AWESOME!

This review is for the exceptional food service folks. It was a miracle that they were able to prepare nutritious and delicious food for me. I have numerous allergies and cannot do with many fruits, vegetables, and dairy products. Despite the severe restrictions, they were able to dish up one wonderful plate after another. Just for this food, I would not hesitate to come back again

I had gone there due to severe pain in my stomach. Peeing was also very painful. But the doctors at this ER would have nothing of it and said I am perfectly alright, and I just have cramps. So, cramps due to what – no idea. Why pain while peeing – no idea.

The doctor did not even order any scans or tests to determine my pain. Nothing. He just wanted to rush through the care.

With no sign of any improvement, I went to another ER where the doctor ordered a urine examination and determined I had a severe bladder infection, which required the use of high-dose antibiotics.

I will not step into this shithole again.

Great Hospital run by some of the most exceptional doctors and nurses in this country. They are very caring, friendly, courteous, give proper respect to patients. The doctors and nurses are knowledgeable and very professional. The support services, including food services, also play their part to perfection. These folks have not given me any reason to think about shifting my care to some other provider. Very happy with the services on offer here
