Excellent ER!!!! You are in and out of this place in a jiffy.

Sentara at Virginia Beach is excellent!! Period.

I took my daughter there after she started complaining of severe ear pain. We might have waited for not more than 15 minutes before a lovely nurse came and took her vitals. Five minutes later, we are talking with the PA who diagnosed her with an ear infection (something we suspected all along). The PA discussed the care plan with us and precautions to take, and we were on our way. We went to the pharmacy, got the meds, and we walked out of the hospital. The whole visit might have taken an hour or so. Might be less, but not more than an hour. While we were in, there was also some computer related issue which was rectified by the time we were at the pharmacy. Good hospital experience made excellent by a team of highly professional and very caring staff.

My wife was hospitalized at this place a few months back, and she received quality care from the medical staff. They looked after her very well. The stay was good; the food was your standard hospital food, but care was excellent. One cannot stop singing paeans of this hospital.

Last week, my father had to visit the hospital due to a case of a pinched nerve, which was making it difficult for him to sit or walk properly. The doctor talked with him and gave an injection to the hip. The relief was immediate. A guy who came in a wheelchair was walking out with a walker. Yesterday, he took my bike and went for a drive. Remarkable

Sentara Virginia Beach, please train your nurses in etiquettes and if possible recruit doctors who know something about medicine and human anatomy. The nurses in the ER were mean and very rude. I was in a bike accident and was brought to this place. The nurse who attended to me was very rude, and so was the nurse who came to take vitals. I also heard the nurse talking about me with her colleagues, which was a blatant violation of HIPAA. But I guess these people might not have heard about it!!

The doctor who saw me told I had a navicular fracture when it was the ankle which was broken. I also had a broken finger which these guys completed missed. Thanks to the sloppy care, I had to visit a genuine hospital where they diagnosed me properly and gave appropriate treatment. Sloppy and simply ridiculous!!! Not willing to step in again!

There are not enough words which can describe my excellent experience at this place. The ER team was out of this world. They took good care of me. It was also ensured that my wife and my daughter were comfortable while I was undergoing treatment. Great place.
