Absolutely disgusting.

Waiting for nearly five hours now and yet no sign of the doctor. My blood report and x-ray says I have blood clots and I need an ultrasound scan. Been waiting for the scan for five hours now. When my husband inquired, he was told that the tech would report in late and hence the delay… okay, when would he report in….no idea. So, these people are trying to say to me that in the entire Sentara Obici Hospital, there is only one guy who can take scans…

Moral of the story – Never visit a hospital that is heavily understaffed, lousy and has totally incompetent idiots running it.

I have had good hospital experiences at this place. My last visit was to the Bone Density Department. The staff out there treated me well. My appointment was completed within 30 minutes. Even otherwise, this is a wonderful hospital. The nurses are excellent. The doctors, surgeons, and techs are also amazing. The staff here is highly professional and know the things around here. Also, there is never a dull moment when you meet these people. Always smiling, jovial, and cracking jokes. This positive attitude is present across the hospital. It definitely shows on the quality of care. Very happy with the care that I received here. Will not hesitate to return for health issues

The staff at Sentara Obici rocks. They are very knowledgeable. I had gone there for a scratch mark on my hand which was refusing to heal. The doctor takes one look at it and says it is highly infected and needs to be cleaned. I was surprised because there was no oozing or any telltale signs of infection. The doctor numbs the area and pokes a needle into it and draws out puss. Shocked, I ask him to do whatever is necessary. They remove the top part, which was filled with puss, and the infection was slowly spreading. The whole area is cleaned and sterilized, and the wound is dressed. Thanks to the excellent doctor, I still have my arm. I do not know what would have happened had I not visited the ER and seen this doctor?

Coincidence or something else…

Labor and Delivery Department at Sentra Obici is filled with some of the most qualified, very professional, and compassionate caregivers. My wife and I appreciate the care and attention we got while we visited this place to bring our child to this world. Three cheers to the wonderful team
