This place has managed to save my husband’s life twice. I love the doctors who work here. They are such a wonderful lot. They respect each other and know the value of working as a team.

I can guarantee that it was their amazing skills and the good team work which helped save my husband’s life. And every single nurse who I interacted with was an absolute sweetheart. They never had any problem if I asked them too many questions and dealt patiently with all my concerns.

There was not even a single person, be it a doctor, a nurse, a janitor who we did not like. It seemed like all of them were born pleasant and they maintained their demeanour no matter what the situation was.

Such a wonderful experience!

The food is amazing, the staff is wonderful and the facilities are extraordinary; this hospital is way better than many others in the town and I can vouch for its reliability. They will never let you down no matter how busy the place is or whatever the situation is.

I am a careless brat and I have been to the ER many a times mostly because of my carelessness but every time, they greet me with a smile and I have never had a wait time that exceeded more than 15 minutes.

I strongly recommend Sentara Martha for all your medical woes.

I was admitted here for a procedure 5 years back and things were pretty rosy here back then. The staff were genuinely concerned about the well-being of their patients and walked that extra mile to make their patients feel at ease.

But last week I was at their ER and I got the worst treatment of my life. The doctor who took up my case had no patience or interest in listening to me. he did not even check my medical records properly and went about with things in a manner that pleased him.

They made me wait for like 5 hours on the pretext of getting my blood work done but ultimately nobody bothered to even do that. Things have become so pathetic these days at this hospital.

I do not have a single complaint about the doctors or nurses who work there for all of them are good at their jobs. But I was appalled to see the mismanagement happening at that place because of incompetent administration staff.

They are clueless about what needs to be done and how to effectively handle the issues. The situation demands a lot of improvement and some drastic measures need to be taken in order to address the issues before they kill some patient who is brought in for treatment.

I was here 3 weeks ago and I had an excellent experience. I was admitted because of dengue and the care that was showered on me by each and every staff working for this hospital was phenomenal.

The right diagnosis was made and a treatment plan was chalked out by the doctors as per my condition. I felt good and I recovered soon. I 100% trust these people now and I am not going anywhere else the next time I am down with something.

I loved the place before it was sold to Sentara. but now, the place has turned into a shame in the name of medical facility. My sincere advise to anyone reading this would be to save yourself a trip here and go elsewhere where they actually bother about the condition of their patients.

They do all kinds of stupidity and finally when things go out of hand, they try and blame their patients. I am not the only one to say this. I have my friends and a few other family members who experienced the same.

Please stay as far as you can from this place.

I had to make an unexpected trip to the ER of this hospital for my daughter and I found the place to be sparkling clean, the staff to be efficient and patient and the process to be quick.

I can’t help but appreciate the staff for their kind hearted and compassionate nature. Everything was so disciplined and organized and I could see that they are to be trusted.

An amazing and peaceful experience overall!
