Had a great hospital experience at Scripps Memorial ER. These folks were highly organized and helpful. The ER front desk was very friendly and answered all my questions with a smile. The nursing staff and the ER doctor were great. They did not rush through my care and ensured that I was completely satisfied with the care that I got. I had an overnight stay for observation, and once the doctor gave me an all-clear signal, I was on my way. Very happy with the manner in which I was treated here. Highly Recommended.

Oops!!! Nearly forgot. ER patients can get their parking validated even if an overnight stay is required

Dealing with billing at Scripps is a big pain in the “you know where.” Two years after I underwent a procedure, these fellows send me a bill for immediate payment because my insurance did not pay them. I decided to pay it online and guess what...just like two years back, their site was down. I had to endure the robot recordings guiding me to make the payment on the most inconvenient website I have ever come across. I finally ended up making the payment after spending nearly an hour on the website. Not sure if I would like to visit Scripps again. Do not want shocks like what I got now, in the future.

This review is for the wonderful healing garden on the premises of the hospital. It is a wonderful garden. The path is lined with white pebble rocks and grass. The garden has water fountains and statues which have a calming effect on you. The rocks make for a very good sight. I liked the time I spent in the garden. I felt healed. Not sure why, but just spending time in the garden made me feel healed. No wonder it is called a healing garden.
