My sister had a right mastectomy done by Dr. Flowers back in November 2018 at Santiam Hospital. We were impressed with the care that she got at this hospital. The thing that I liked about this hospital is the strength of the staff. Clearly, the hospital is not understaffed. This ensures that every patient gets quality care. There is no rushing of the patients.

The hospital has good communication between the staff members and between the staff and the patients. They treat every individual with respect. The staff is caring, kind, compassionate, and very professional. My sister told she felt very safe in their hands. I think that is the biggest compliment that a hospital can get

One of the worst experiences that one can ever have in any ER. I had brought my teenaged son here. He was in severe pain and doubling up. The nurse checked us in and asked us to wait as there was no room available. Joshua’s pain increases to such an extent that he could not even sit on the chair and fell down to the floor. He also lost consciousness for a brief second. I inform this to the nurse and ask if he can be seen by the doctor immediately. The nurse was unmoved. The nurse also had the gumption to say that they were busy and I should not disturb them. Disturb them, my foot. My son is losing consciousness, his life is in danger, and these girls are worried about being disturbed. I asked them should we visit another hospital and they did not even answer. I ended up calling 911 and had him shifted to another hospital where they saw him immediately, and prompt treatment was started.

The whole incident was very disgusting, and I never thought that nurses and even the hospital would be so inhumane. The EMT who came to take him away was far more concerned about my son than these f*****g b*****s.

This was my first visit to Santiam Hospital, and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. The staff was superb and took great care of me. They were very kind and had attention to detail. The doctor who saw me was also an excellent person who while being very jovial and friendly, was also very professional and had enough patience to go through my complicated medical history and diagnose my ailment. Highly recommended!!!!

The doctors at Santiam Hospital are wonderful. I was treated by an excellent doctor who had the time and patience to listen to my problem. He heard me and advised a test and scan. Once the results came, he spent some time with me explaining the results. The time I spent with him was just 15 minutes, but those were the best satisfying times that I had spent with any doctor. I am very pleased with the excellent care that I got at this hospital.
