Sanford USD Medical Center should be shuttered. It is a very crappy hospital. The hospital interiors give a feeling that they are going to fall apart anytime soon. The staff and doctors are a pathetic bunch. They have zero bedside manners and are in a rush to complete the evaluation, so what if it does lead to misdiagnosis. That is not their problem. Their goal is to mint as much money as possible for the hospital.

The surgical team at Sanford Medical Center is great. They are courteous, caring, and know their way around. My daughter was admitted here for scheduled surgery. However, what was supposed to be a straightforward operation turned out to be very complicated for reasons best unknown. The highly knowledgeable surgeon saved the day for us. He did not panic and handled the situation very well. Adrianna not only survived the surgery but has also recovered very well.

Sanford USD Medical Center is the best hospital in the neighborhood. They have a very attentive and caring staff. The staff is ready to go way above and beyond to ensure that the patient is made comfortable and gets treated well. They also ensure that the loved ones accompanying the patients are also made comfortable. My fiancé had a spiking fever, and while the wait was taking long, a nurse came and gave him a warm blanket and allowed him to take a nap while waiting for his turn. Once the turn came, the doctor was beside us pretty soon and conducted all the necessary tests before diagnosing him with severe pneumonia. My fiancé was admitted to the floor for a week. The team looking after him on the floor was also great and took really good care of him. Hats off to the wonderful team
