Underwhelming ER experience. Not too keen on revisiting this place. The registration lady was agitated when I told that the hospital did not seem to be busy. The lady’s attitude made me feel as if I had inconvenienced her by showing up. The experience did not end there. I was checked in and then heard the nurse call me out by my symptoms. She forgot that I had a name. She was rude, condescending, and clearly did not like working there.

The doctor was one step ahead than these people. She made me wait for an hour in the waiting room and then when she came, just looked at the chart, asked standard questions and then went ahead in diagnosing my problem. No questions about how the problem started, what are my symptoms etc. When I told her some additional symptoms, she just nodded her head, and it seemed that she just did not hear what I said.

The only good thing was that there were very few people. The hospital ER staff should be courteous, kind, and professional. And these people clearly were not…..

I have been to this hospital since 2016, and I have never faced any problem with anybody. I have had ER visits, x-rays, scans, etc. and have not faced a situation where I might have thought twice before coming to this place. The hospital is understaffed, no denying that, but the staff that is present does provide excellent care

Absolutely amazing hospital experience!!!!!

I had to visit the ER at 1:00 AM on a Saturday night after I fell from my bed. I felt immediate pain in my ribs and left hand, and there was swelling in my hand. I was not sure if I could get any help at this ungodly hour, but I was wrong. These folks provided excellent care. They were very friendly and attentive.

The nurse was a kind lady who totally empathized with me and ensured that I was comfortable while I was here. The doctor saw me after a wait of nearly 30 minutes. He was an excellent guy and did not rush through my care. Ordered scans, and when it was all clear, gave me appropriate meds. I was out of the ER by 3:30 AM.

The best emergency visit that I have ever had.

Roxborough Memorial Hospital rocks!!!! They know how to handle a young child. My son had a high temperature and was in a really cranky mood. I took him to the hospital on a Friday evening. We were checked in very quickly. Despite it being a dull evening, the nurse was quite attentive to our needs and made sure that my son was preoccupied while we awaited the doctor.

By the time we saw the doctor, my son was smiling. The doctor was also a very nice gentleman with excellent bedside manners. He thoroughly evaluated my son and ordered a few tests which showed he had an infection.

A shot was given, and the necessary meds were prescribed. We were out of the hospital in less than three hours, starting from the time we stepped in till we walked out.

Very happy and eternally grateful to the ER team for treating my child in such a wonderful manner
