The care was okay, but the food was atrocious. It was inedible. I mean, my seven-year-old son can make much better pancakes than what the idiots prepared in the hospital. The hospital charges so much from its patients, can’t they not spend some more money on giving the patients and their loved ones some edible food. Invest in getting better ingredients and better chefs.

In this day and age, if a chef cannot cook a decent pancake and burgers, then it is time to quit cooking. The loved ones who come to stay with the patients also deserve good food. The medical care was excellent; however, the whole thing got washed over by the atrocious food.

The nurses and doctors should not judge a patient and try to berate or belittle them.

My brother was having problems with breathing and other complications due to his morbid obesity. He was admitted here for three days, and there was not a moment where the doctors and nurses did not berate him for his weight. The common refrain was “lose weight, eat better, or you will end up dead.”

Really? What a way to motivate a patient. They do not understand that he had already lost nearly 110 pounds and is doing his best to reduce more and reach around 120 to 130 pounds…

If you cannot offer anything better, then I think you should keep quiet or else keep motivating the patient…I am not sure either my brother or my family would like to return here ever!!!

I have been visiting RCH ever since I was born. I am 30, and from the moment I could start remembering things, Rochelle Community Hospital has been my family’s go-to hospital for everything. The doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, specialists, and support services have all been excellent. The care that we have got here was always exceptional. Never felt the need to visit another place for medical needs

Rochelle Community Hospital has always treated me well.

I was here last month with high fever, night sweats, chills, and severe cough. The nurse took me in immediately. After a reasonable wait period, I was taken back to the room where I was evaluated by a fantastic doctor. She was very gentle but knowledgeable. She heard me out and then ordered a few tests that came out positive for pneumonia. She transferred my care to the floor, where excellent care continued….

Five days later, I was back to baseline and was walking out, a completely cured person

I was driving through Rochelle when I suddenly fell sick and ended up at Rochelle Community Hospital. I received exceptional care at this place. The front desk was outstanding and checked out the insurance stuff in a matter of a few minutes. The doctor and the nurses who provided care were again excellent. Thanks to their wonderful care, I recovered quickly and was on my way within a day…Highly appreciated
