When we found out my man needed surgery, I was a little anxious. But Riddle Hospital took care of everything, starting from booking the appointments and assuring we got a private room for the recovery process. He was in the best hands for the operation. The team was very reassuring and just as they promised, he came out feeling great! His recovery process took some time but the nurses and caregivers were always available and ready to go the extra mile to ensure we felt comfortable. I would suggest coming to Riddle Hospital for top notch service.

They have an excellent ER. Speedy service, I didn’t have to wait for longer than 5 minutes. With 3 boys in the house, I frequent the ER with your run-of-the-mill scrapes and breaks. They always fix them up real good. The doctors and nurses are super nice to us too! All in all, it’s as enjoyable process as it can be, considering the bruised kid I usually go in with comes out smiling, on most occasions.

I always grew up thinking being a nurse required you to be compassionate, patient and caring, in order to put your ailing patients at ease. This is because my mother is a nurse, and I’ve seen first hand how much concern she had for the patients she took care of. They all loved her too. But for that woman to suffer such verbal abuse from a nurse, when she finally switched places and became a patient, it’s almost like some twisted, grim fate.

Riddle Hospital has alright doctors, none that I would call extravagant but they definitely take care of their patients. I guess the mandatory 1 star can be allotted to them. The hospital could definitely invest in a cleaning crew. The place is definitely nasty, hygiene-wise. The real icing on the cake though, are the nurses and their horrible attitude! You may argue it was probably just one nurse, to one patient, but sadly, it was not.

I’ve heard multiple patients in the adjacent rooms being yelled at, one for asking for some water!! It makes my blood boil! Three days at Riddle and mom could not be more happy to LEAVE! Never coming back here.

Other than the fact that the private rooms are pretty clean, I can’t think of another reason to come here. The doctors are lazy and unprofessional, although they dim in comparison to the nurses. Unhelpful and rude, they almost make you feel guilty for asking them to do their job. I would not return, ever.

So these people definitely don’t know the proper procedure while treating a patient. When my son had a fever for 2 days, I brought him here to be checked out. I took an appointment beforehand because I didn’t want him to be waiting around in a hospital waiting room, but cuddled up in his warm bed, as soon as he could. The doctor apparently didn’t think there was value for our time. He decided to treat himself to an early lunch and walked in, calmly, 2 hours later! 2 HOURS I waited with my sick 5 year old, AFTER I took an appointment!

The doctor checked him out for a minute, tops and decided he has strep throat. How he came to this conclusion by looking at my son’s mouth for a minute, I will never know. But that was his “professional” diagnosis. He topped that off by prescribing penicillin for a 5 year old!
Needless to say, I walked out of there and went about getting a second (and a third) opinion.

He does not have strep throat. No surprises there.

I’m just baffled at how 6 administrators is seemingly not enough to create a competent environment. Not sure what else to say but that without some serious changes, there is no way people would feel comfortable coming to Riddle Hospital for treatment.
