Renown, please disclose facts upfront.

I had gone to Renown Urgent Care for an x-ray to rule out a fracture. The procedure went off smoothly. It was only after the x-ray was taken that I was told this would cost extra. The staff goes ahead and tells me that Renown has entered into a partnership with Reno Radiological Associates and the x-rays would be through them. This, in ordinary language, can be called withholding of facts. Reno Radiological is not a great institution, and it is a common knowledge that it does not give bills to patients, but send it to collections. Sorely disappointed that Renown has entered into a partnership with such a business.

Avoid getting imaging done at Renown. If you do, then prepare yourself for getting calls from collections!

I am writing this review for Renown Infusion Center which is located inside the main building. I had gone there for infusion and had to undergo the procedure for nearly eight hours. Luckily, the nurses ensured that the eight hours were well spent. They had big and very comfortable chairs in the room. Each chair also had a TV. On top of it, a nurse comes around with little snacks cart...bonus! The transfusion is a crappy thing and I hope nobody needs it, but the staff at Renown does make it a point to ensure that they make it very comfortable for the patients! If in the unfortunate event that one has to undergo infusion, then you know where to go – Renown Infusion Center

Health-wise, the last few months have been terrible, and I had to visit Renown Hospital, either for myself or for my family. You can say it is like my second home. The latest round of visit was for my father who had to undergo surgery. Like always, the staff was very friendly and helped a lot with pre-op scheduling. They did not hesitate to give updates to us at regular intervals. While in pre-op, they made sure that both my family and my father understood the procedure that he was going to undergo, what it entails, the pros and cons, etc. The facilities at the hospital were also very good. We had comfortable seating options everywhere in the waiting area. Must say, the nurses were best, hands down. Best experience

I have had a positive experience whenever I came here. Staff is professional, informative and caring. I have visited different departments and have always come satisfied. The building itself is very beautiful now. It has many quiet and calm spaces. It has everything you might need.
