Came here for irregular heartbeat, got admitted for knowing the reason. The results after a three-night stay – zilch….zero…nothing. They ran every single cardiac test they could but could not find the answer. Not pissed off because of this, but pissed off because none of the nurses or doctors or specialists were able to answer my family’s and my questions. It seemed they were very desperate to find something that could hold me here. After three nights, I asked to be discharged. They agreed but even then, they did not share the results of the tests, nor did they say what the problem was. No idea why they were hiding the results. On a scale of 1-10, the staff communication score would be -20. Not sure if I would ever step in again.

Very happy with the way the ER staff treated my father. They ensured that he was comfortable and got the most appropriate care possible. We are thankful to the entire staff. All of you would be in our prayers. Thank you!

Regional Medical Center of San Jose has really pulled up its socks. I had a very horrible experience when I came to the ER last year and had decided not to step in again. As fate would have it, I was back in the ER with my 12-year-old son. The process has certainly become smoother and quicker. The nurses and doctors were great and addressed my son’s problem without wasting any time. Thanks to their efforts, my son is on the mend. I do not mind the extra 30 minutes’ drive. You guys rock.

Also, RMC is much cleaner when compared to the mess it was when I came last year.
