Incredible with a capital I...

I went to the ER with severe jaw pain and suspected TMJ fracture. Am taken in but made to wait for nearly five hours before a doctor sees me. During my wait, I am not even offered water or some painkillers to bear with the pain. I was made to sit in a very uncomfortable chair. My visit to the doctor might have lasted for nearly “three minutes.” The doctor gives me a script for Tylenol and sends me off…no x-rays or anything to determine jaw pain.

Needless to say, I drove a little further and ended up getting admitted to the hospital with a confirmed temporomandibular joint fracture, which needed surgery for repair. Won’t be returning.

Very rude employees and snobbish doctors at Progress West Hospital. They are shameless and can lie with a straight face. An RN came and told me that she was a doctor, and she would be treating me. I just asked her the credentials, and she vanished. I had a very bad knee pain and the PA who saw me just advised rest and some pain meds. She did not even order any scans. When I pointed it out, I was forcibly removed from the hospital. I sincerely hope and pray that this hospital gets shuttered. It would be a good thing to happen for the community and the entire region as a whole. As for me, I had a bad MCL tear revealed in scans at another hospital.

Amazing staff at Progress West! We went there for birth of our daughter, and we were treated with respect. From the moment we entered the hospital until we left it, the staff treated us with compassion, love, understanding, and most importantly, humanely. The nursing team was great, and so were the doctors. Nothing but respect for the entire staff

My wife has been to quite a few hospitals due to her accident-prone nature. Have to tell that this is the best hospital that we have been to so far. The staff is outstanding. The treatment is complemented by amazing food! There was a little delay in the ER, but then that was understandable as it was rush time. Highly recommended

GREAT FOOD!!! Attentive staff!!!

What more can one expect for an unexpected hospital stay? I definitely recommend it. The hospital is clean. The rooms are large, spacious, and my room also boasted of a huge couch that allowed my husband to sleep during the night. The room also had a functional bathroom with a shower. I am highly impressed with the facility as well as the add-on facilities which they provided like one free meal for a family member. If I need to visit any hospital for any medical care, then this would be it

Caring staff and a very clean hospital. The ER dept is great! They treat you well and with respect. They treated my mother very well and ensured that she had a comfortable stay while in the hospital. They also made sure that I was comfortable. This has become my go-to hospital for any medical need
