They just know how to squeeze your insurance dry. For Pottstown Hospital, your insurance is most important. It does not matter that your treatment was BS, and you have not recovered at all after spending a month here. A place that should be avoided using a barge pole. Pathetic!!!!!

I am not sure how this hospital is still working. This should have been shuttered due to its pathetic services. I went to Pottstown ER a few days back after a sudden twist left me with immense pain in the back. I entered the ER at 4:00 PM. They sounded so helpful and ensured that I was triaged within five minutes. Was happy as I thought I would be seen immediately. Boy, was I wrong? I was seen at 9:00 PM and my time with a physician assistant lasted for two minutes…no scans, no immediate relief…just some OTC pain meds.

I was not in a position to leave before being seen as these idiots have mentioned that once you are triaged, even if you do not see the doctor, you would be billed. Disgusting!!! Such corrupt practices. Won’t step in again.

I shifted from California to Pennsylvania a few months back due to work. My wife was heavily pregnant and was not too keen on the shift. But circumstances forced her to shift with me.

A few days after we shifted, her water broke, and we were literally at sea. I took her to the nearest hospital, which was Pottstown Hospital; an excellent decision. The staff was amazing. Very caring and guided Penny through birth. The room was spotless. The nurses and the doctor was topnotch.

Thank you for taking great care of Penny

I am not sure why are people so pissed off with this hospital. I have read many negative reviews on various forums. Truth be told, I was skeptical when I sought care here, but it has turned out to be an excellent decision that I could take under the given circumstances. I did not come across any grumpy or angry employees. The doctor and the nurses were efficient, cheerful, and very professional. Things worked like a well-oiled machine, and I received excellent care. GREAT job

I took my daughter there at 1 am on the 14th of last month after she was having spiking fever. The front desk lady was exceptional. Very pleasant, and she guided me through the form filling and then took me to the ER where another sweet lady quickly took us in and took us back to the room within 10 minutes. The doctor was a great guy and had a terrific bedside manner! Our experience at Pottstown Hospital was beautiful. We were walking off the hospital before 5 am. I'm grateful to everyone who took great care of my daughter.
