I had a pleasant hospital experience at Piedmont Newton Hospital. The medical and service staff are great. I was admitted to Piedmont Newton for five days and never did I face any problem. They treated me respectfully and gave me proper treatment even when I told them I am in between insurances. They were friendly, and the doctors, surgeons, and nurses had excellent bedside manners. I had gone for a ruptured appendix and resultant complications. Thanks to the high quality of care, I am on the way to recovery

This hospital needs to be shut and overhauled. The building is quite old, and fixtures are on the verge of breaking down. This is more pronounced on the 3rd floor. The commode and the sink of the room where I was admitted to were hanging loose, and whenever I visited the bathroom, I used to say a prayer because I was not sure when it would break. Besides the outdated fixtures, the room had a lot of cracks and holes at the corners and the bottom. As if these issues were not enough, I also faced bedbugs, and the entire time I was in the hospital, I was busy killing them. The doctors and nurses are great and treated me well, but it surely cannot overcome the deficiencies that this hospital has. Not sure if I would be returning to this old and ready-to-crash building at all.

Piedmont Newton Hospital has been my hospital of choice for any medical issues. I have always been satisfied with the services that I have got from this place. The quality of care is great, and so are the nurses and doctors. They have excellent bedside manners and do not hesitate to answer any questions that we throw at them. My latest visit to this hospital was a month back for an ankle fracture. I was seen in the ER in double quick time, and they repaired my ankle in a jiffy. I had entered the ER at around 5:00 pm and was out by 9:00 pm. It was the quickest visit as far as I was concerned. Would not hesitate to return

This hospital is the best and certainly rocks when it comes to staff and the care they provide. I had visited the hospital with my wife after she started complaining of breathlessness. The front desk lady was very sweet and told us the expected waiting time and also helped with the registration process. Once my wife was taken in, the triage nurse kept us updated about how many people were in front of us. The doctor saw us after an hour. The doctor and the nurse had excellent bedside manners. The doc ordered an EKG which thankfully, came out negative. The doctor made a diagnosis and gave a treatment plan, and we were out of the hospital after four hours. Very satisfied with the care that my wife got here. Would return if the need arises
