The most unprofessional nurse practitioners and doctors that I have ever come across. Sadly, Albany is saddled with this garbage dump as a hospital. I am perplexed as to why can’t this hospital get some professional doctors who care for their patients and not worry about or interfere in other’s work. I have had a terrible experience here. I will never return to this place. For me, my family’s and my health is more important than what some BS doctor thinks about himself or others.

My son underwent an operation today. It was a successful operation. The nurses and the surgeon involved in the surgery were great. Very professional and highly knowledgeable. They were patient enough to explain the entire procedure to us in great detail. It was explained in simple layman’s terms, which made it easier for us to understand. The nurses kept me updated during the procedure. The recovery process was also smooth. After spending eight hours, we were on our way. Thank you, Phoebe Putney, for taking good care of my son. We will not hesitate to return in case of any need.

Took my husband to this hospital. Excellent staff!!! However, the wait time is atrocious. We spent nearly four hours in a bloody cold waiting room. While we were waiting, people who had come after us somehow were seen before us. After a very long wait, my husband was taken back to the patient room where another one-hour wait ensued. Finally, a doctor comes, and my husband's evaluation is completed in less than five minutes. For a five-minute evaluation, we spent five hours; cannot understand why things were not speeded up. It does not make sense to waste an entire day for getting seen. After all, we are talking about an emergency room visit, not some goddamn routinely scheduled visit. If the wait time is not improved, then I do not think even excellent staff would be able to save the ship.

My aunt needed emergency surgery, and she was referred to Phoebe Putney by her GP. The staff attended to her immediately and got down to the task. They treated her with respect and thanks to the excellent care provided by these wonderful people; my aunt is on the way to recovery

A freak accident resulted in a fracture and a visit to this ER. The staff was very accommodative and took me in immediately. The doctor was beside me in a few minutes and after providing initial evaluation, ordered an x-ray, and it showed a clean break in the ankle. A quick work on the cast and training on the use of crutches and I am on my way. Happy with the treatment that I got
