I was advised to undergo an ultrasound by my GI doctor, who went ahead and scheduled it. This was nearly two weeks ago. I call up the hospital a day before the ultrasound and am asked to come down in the evening. I go ahead and reach the hospital and check in. The drama begins the next day. First, they make me wait in a small room which is supposed to be a registration office. After half-an-hour, I am shifted to the main waiting room. I wait there for an hour or so and then get shifted back to the first room where I am left waiting for nearly two hours. Finally, a nursing assistant comes and tell me that there is no ultrasound scheduled for the day since they did not receive any order from the GI doctor’s office. I was dumbstruck. How in the world can you schedule a procedure without having an order? If they had found about this earlier, I would have left the previous night itself. Pathetic!!! Absolutely disgusting!!! Will not come back to this place.

We had a pleasant birthing experience while delivering our first child at this hospital. The staff was very knowledgeable and very courteous. They made my wife’s birthing experience a positive one. The night staff were the best and gave a lot of attention to Rhea while she was still in labor. Thanks to them, she was very relaxed, and her body was at ease. We had heard a lot of horror stories about the hospital but never experienced anything. We surely would be back if we plan to have any more children. I will not hesitate to recommend this lovely hospital to anyone and everyone. Thank you, Pekin!

Great service and very courteous staff. I was waiting for my appointment with the doctor when I saw an elderly lady falling asleep and literally fell down. The nurse saw this and immediately got a reclining chair for her. Thanks to the quick thinking nurse, the patient had a peaceful sleep. The nurse even woke her up and gave some water when her turn came. I am very happy that I am seeking care in a hospital that truly cares for its patients.

Absolutely phenomenal experience in Pekin Memorial Hospital Urgent Care. Right from the check-in to discharge, I had a great experience. A special shout out to the wonderful technician in Radiology. She was pleasant, calming and very helpful and most importantly knowledgeable. She was great, as were others whom I interacted with! Great job
