I hate reading reviews of hospitals before visiting it. I feel that a layman does not qualify to review any hospital. It should be left to the experts. That said, I would like to tell the world the wonderful hospital experience that I had here. I was in Knoxville for a private function and unfortunately fell sick. Went to an Urgent Care, which referred me to Parkwest Medical Center. They treated me like royalty. Starting from the security guard to the desk to wonderful RNs who treated me to the pharmacy; everybody was great. These people provided good quality care, and I was on my way after two hours. Their attitude blew me away. Everyone whom I interacted with was friendly and seemed to like the work they were doing. Highly recommended

If you want to waste time, then visit this useless hospital. I had the misfortune of getting a procedure scheduled here. I was asked to reach the hospital by 7:00 AM. I reach the hospital 30 minutes before that, and I end up waiting for nearly four hours before the procedure getting canceled. I get scheduled to undergo the procedure on another day and guess what, the same thing repeats. The doctor who was supposed to do the procedure fails to turn up; apparently due to the goof-up from these people. Make no mistakes, the staff is friendly, but simply not efficient. Most of the people who were present in the waiting room during the days I was there were very irritated. I think the staff needs to pull up their socks or else the day won’t be long before they would have to shutter the hospital.

Great hospital! Excellent care! These fellows shower a hell lot of attention on their patients. My mother had to visit the hospital due to an unexpected turn of events. She was treated very well. She was checked in and then taken back to the room in a matter of a few minutes. The ER doctor was a nice lady who was very professional and had excellent bedside manners. She did a thorough evaluation and then suggested an overnight stay to ensure there was no recurrence. Once she was satisfied, we were on our way. Very happy with the service we got here

A quick visit to the ER was necessitated after my hubby ended up feeling uneasy and having severe stomach pain. To say that we were looked after very well would be an understatement. Jeff got outstanding care. The nurse who checked in was a wonderful gentleman, and so was the doctor who saw Jeff. They had excellent bedside manners. They did a quick evaluation and declared him problem-free. Turns out that eating a mix of Buffalo wings and steak can result in severe indigestion. Credit to these wonderful gentlemen for not laughing at Jeff.

All said and done, the doctor gave him some OTC Tums and gave his number to call if he felt any sort of discomfort. We would surely come back if any need arises
