This place should be shuttered. Disgusting!!! Awful!!!!

I had the misfortune of visiting this hospital on the recommendation of my VA since it was stated that I might have a “life-threatening” situation. I went to the hospital and saw nearly 10 to 15 people in the ER waiting room; not all patients, some family members. I was called in, had my blood work taken, and then asked to wait. Since I had issues with my back, I asked them if there were any other chairs suited for my back. The nurse was rude and literally shouted at my face. She asked me to sit in the chair which other patients were sitting in. I sat in an uncomfortable chair for nearly three hours. Since I was not able to bear the pain any longer, I went to the nurse and inquired what was taking so long…her answer, “If you want, you can leave. I will mention that you had to leave.” I was aghast. Never expected such a result. There was no care or concern or empathy from her end. It felt as if I was talking to a robot. She could not understand why I wanted a different chair. Absolutely no empathy. I cannot believe that I had to face this type of treatment in a private hospital, where the emphasis is on profit and customer service. My VA hospital treats me much better.

I have read many reviews on various forums where people are dissing about this hospital – nurses, facility, doctors, etc. Yes, the hospital does have its share of worries, but that does not make this hospital very bad. A majority of the doctors and nurses are excellent and took really good care of their patients. My grandfather, aged 95, was admitted here for some days due to age-related illness. They took very good care of him. They respected him and talked to him and made him understand what happened to him and always ensured that he was looked after well. The staff also kept us in the loop. He was released to home after a few days. The family fully appreciates whatever efforts have been put in to take care of my grandpa. Thank You
