Funny are the ways Oviedo Medical Center works. I spent a week here for a mystery illness. The doctors and specialists did every test they could do and got nothing. No diagnosis was made, and I ended up recovering on my own. At the end of the week-long stay, these guys charged me more than $30000. My insurance pays off the entire money, and I also get a letter from the insurance stating that there are no dues left. Five months after the hospital stay, I get a call from a collection agency stating that I have pending dues and I have to cough up $1000 balance immediately. I sent a copy of the letter given by my insurance carrier to them. I also sent a copy to the hospital. They were adamant that there are pending dues. I told the collection agency that I am not going to pay a dime. Stay clear from this hospital!

I wouldn't send a dead dog here. It is one of the worst ER that I have come across. I had the misfortune of visiting this shithole twice, and both time the service was pathetic. In fact, the first time was better than the recent visit. The staff is super rude and have no idea how to interact with patients. The first time I went for my son, and though the doctor was a good person, he was the only saving grace. The recent visit was for me, and it was absolute crap. I had to wait in a near-deserted ER for nearly two hours before I was able to meet the doctor. He was rude and wanted to get done with my evaluation ASAP. A grumpy look, no greetings, no asking me what the problem is, not even using the shit that was hanging around his neck. He just saw the chart and diagnosed me with chest inflammation.

Hello, I ain’t no doctor, but at least I know that we need to hear the sounds of my lungs to determine if there is an inflammation…also an x-ray should have been ordered. But this bozo ordered nothing. I did not fill the prescription and ended up visiting another hospital where I was diagnosed with pneumonia

I had to be rushed to the Oviedo ER after my sugars shot through the roof. The staff was quick and got down to work and ensured the sugars were brought down to very manageable levels. Amazed by the level of kindness and care that the staff members showed. The doctor also was a courteous guy and explained to me what happened and what should be done to ensure it never repeats again. Very satisfied with the care that I got here

My niece took a nasty tumble while getting down the steps and was knocked out cold. My sister ended up bringing her to the nearest ER, which happened to be this hospital. The nurse took her in quickly and brought her back to the room immediately. The doctor came and ordered a scan and a few other tests. By Grace of God, Steph was fine, and nothing major happened. Very happy with the way my niece was treated by the staff

A wonderful hospital ER. The doctors and nurses treated me like a human being. The doctor does not rush me through. They have been nice to me. What else do you expect for a hospital ER? I came to the ER on a Saturday night, was seen by a doctor in literally a minute. He ordered a surgery, got it done the next day morning, and I was discharged at 9:30 AM. Super quick!!! Super Efficient!!! Will be back if I need any medical help
